Four decades, fifty artists 1940 – 1970
The Bassat Collection is a compilation of contemporary art, primarily from Catalonia, that reflects the passion and taste of Carmen and Luis Bassat.
Since November 2010 parts of the collection have been on display in the Nau Gaudí – the first building designed by renowned architect Antoni Gaudí. The collection brings to light, in chronological order, the work of important artists that, to this day, has seldom been featured in Spanish museums.
